Had the 16T front sprocket fitted with a new chain,and spend a lot less time in the red zone now,fuel mileage about the same,90+mpg,gears are a bit longer so a bit less gearchanging required,but still quite zippy around town. Am also going for the higher geared front sprocket soon,as the chain is now just about clapped,will report back, merry xmas ho ho ho!ДЁ000km service done just before xmas,had to have some new brake pads,otherwise just regular stuff although back tyre is now borderline legality. A new mudguard costs ВЈ20ish,so cheap to replace before trade in. Had a quick look at it yesterday, it seemed ok,no apparent wear or damage,so ahem,I worked out what the on setting was,taped it up in that position and tucked it into the side panel,will report on this bodge after the next rainy ride,fingers crossed it'll work ok,must remember to flip the stand up! Otherwise,all well apart from I get wet feet as the mudguard is a bit short,amd as it's dinged already due to my off-road fun,I'll drill a couple of holes and fit a flap,as no-one seems to do a fender extender. I had heard about the side stand cut out switch being a bit dodgey,so flipped it down and up again and it started and ran fine. During a heavy rainstorm it decided to cut out,started again but ran erratically and cut out further up the road.
